Every once in a while, if you’re lucky, and if you keep having babies (ha!), a great new product comes along just in time to make traveling with your child a little easier.
I should probably disclose up front, however, that I am in the somewhat unusual position of being approached on an almost-weekly basis by inventors of “great new products” that will do just that. I can’t review them all, let alone try them out on my own children. But when I find something that strikes a chord based on my own travel experiences, I do what I can.

PS I’m sure that through the course of time this will be erroneously mentioned as the FlyBaby. A if it weren’t cool enough that this was a mom-invented product, get this: that mom’s last name is honest-to-goodness “Flye.” She tells me that when her baby came onto the scene, friends called her “the little Flye Baby.” Down the road, as they developed the product, the name was a shoe-in.
