Maclaren Easy
Traveller
Car Seat Frame
Why
Shelly recommends
it:
It really is an "easy
traveler." In fact,
many airlines now
allow parents to roll it down the aisle of larger aircraft because
it's actually narrow enough to do so and folds compactly enough to
store in the overhead bin!
One-hand umbrella fold with automatic
latch and carrying handle help you negotiate security, deposit your stroller frame on the jetway
if needed,
or hail your taxi from the curb. You also get Maclaren's
ergonomic foam-grip handles, lightweight aluminum frame, and easy
one-handed steering, plus a most generous basket for your essentials
(larger than rest of the Maclaren baskets). It
accommodates most infant carrier car seats, and secures them both by
latching to the frame and using a security strap as backup. Folds to 44" long.
Weight without car seat
is 10.6 lbs.
Compatible with:
Britax Companion, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio,
Graco Snug Ride, Combi Tyro, Evenflo Discovery, Cosco Designer 22, and
Eddie Bauer infant car seats.

Graco
SnugRider
Why
Shelly recommends
it:
Bells
and whistles. The Graco Snugrider is not the lightest weight or most
compactly folding stroller frame, but with two parent cup holders, a height-adjustable
handle, 6" wheels, and a large storage basket, you may prefer it--if
you have a Graco SnugRide car seat. (It may also be used with the Graco SafeSeat, but it was designed to work best with the SnugRide).
It quickly and securely locks the car seat in place, and folds with
one hand with an automatic storage latch. Weight without
car seat is 12.5 lbs.
Compatible
with: The Graco SnugRide (or
Graco Infant SafeSeat).

Trend Snap N Go Double LX
Why
Shelly recommends
it:
One of a kind. It's not
easy traveling with twins--but being able to keep both infants snug and
secure in their infant carrier car seats much of the time can
definitely help.
While there aren't many travel systems that accommodate two infant
car seats, the Snap N Go Double stroller frame will, and it accepts most major
brands. Also includes a large
basket underneath for storage, a parent tray with two cup holders, and
a padded foam handle for comfort. Folds with one hand to 20" x
14" x 47.5. Weighs 18 lbs.
Compatible with:
Baby Trend Latch Loc, Cosco
Designer 22 and 35, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio, Evenflo Cozy Carry,
Evenflo Portabout, Evenflo On My Way, Century Vante, and Graco
SnugRide and SafeSeat.
